…well, it’s been a while, but here we go… Things have been a little chaotic shall we say the past few weeks. Well, to be perfectly honest, it has just felt like one long week instead of eight. I cannot believe that eight weeks have passed already. Where does the time go? The stress has not let up, but the coping with it has definitely changed. I find that I am more adept at coping with the stress here than I was back in Los Angeles. I guess a change of venue will do that. Especially a change of venue that has 6.5M less people. That is just an insane statistic. The population of Montgomery is equivalent to the population of Pasadena, CA. That is something. The good news is that I am not sitting in traffic, not having to deal with the actors and actresses, not having to deal with the honking, the constant cell phone conversations, and the list goes on. I will say though that there are some things I do miss, but in the overall calculus of things, the whole thing is a wash. I would not trade the peace of mind and the comfort that family provides for the inhospitable landscape that is southern california.

With that said, I am preparing for the second phase of my journey with phase one almost in the record books. It has taken eight weeks, but hopefully the preparations have been worth it. Now, only time will tell if all of the preparations have prepared me for the onslaught, or if I will have to revisit the preparations and hope no one notices.
